This gala concert will feature a newly-commissioned work by Julie Giroux. ICB will also welcome back some of our former conductors. You won’t want to miss this show!

Celebrating 40-plus
Years of Music!

ICB's mission from the start has been twofold: to foster enjoyment for member-performers and their audience. More than 40 years ago, in the summer of 1976, our country was celebrating its bicentennial, Gerald Ford was president, and the Ithaca Concert Band began its first concert series. ICB has been invited to perform at several prestigious gatherings of musicians including the New York State School Band Directors Association in Syracuse, the Association of Concert Bands in Rochester and the NY State School Music Association Summer Conference in Rochester.
